A good tweet is more than just 140 characters of text. The perfect tweet is a handcrafted piece of poetry including images or a video.

Below are 10 Tips on how to make your tweet engaging and visually pleasing:

1) Engage your audience using a question❓ or a poll.
2) Add a call to action❗ if you want users to take action.
3) Add one, possibly two hashtags#️⃣. Note: with more than two hashtags in a tweet the engagement is likely to decrease.
4) Add a link 🔗 to your website or an article for more information.
5) Add a visual element: four pictures 📷, a gif or upload a Twitter video 🎥.
6) Tag up to 10 tweeps in the picture. Chances are they will see the tweet and possibly like it and sometimes retweet it.
7) You can add an image description for the visually impaired.
8) Use emojis 💯 which save words and make the tweet visually attractive.
9) Add a location 📍 to your tweet which will be displayed below.
10) Promote the tweet through Promoted Tweets to reach an even larger audience.
